Eight Key Theme Areas

A number of Alberta government ministries currently work together to meet the needs of seniors through the development and delivery of programs and services for seniors. The Aging Population Policy Framework aligns these efforts under an integrated set of strategic directions in eight key areas that have significance for an aging population.

The strategic directions are designed to improve the alignment of programs and services in meeting the needs of a growing number of seniors and inform further collaborative work.
