Development of the My Life: Personal Outcomes Index™

The My Life: Personal Outcomes Index™ was piloted as the Outcomes Project Quality of Life survey.  Persons with Developmental Disabilities, Edmonton Region Community Board (PDD Edmonton) tested the survey instrument and interview process during 2008 and 2009.  The confidential data from the surveys was analyzed by a research company at the completion of the pilot, and based on the findings minor refinements were made to the instrument and the interview process. The survey is now ready for use across the Edmonton Region.

The My Life: Personal Outcomes Index™ provides direct feedback about how well Persons with Developmental Disabilities and service providers contribute to the quality of life of individuals with developmental disabilities.
